Training & Credentials

 

Dance movement therapists in the state of Pennsylvania are eligible for certification from the Dance Movement Therapy Certification Board (DMTCB). They can furthermore be licensed in a behavioral health profession (social work, marriage & family therapy, counseling and psychology) when they meet the requirements.

• Registered Dance/Movement Therapist (R-DMT)

• Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist (BC-DMT)

• Licensing through the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors
